The whole process is environmentally freindly,the only waste products are walnut shell and fine wood dust which can be composted and used in your garden,no harsh chemicals as in stripping,no water damage or mold and mildew problems as in pressure washing.(The worst thing you can do to logs is force water into them,especially at high pressure,we have re-done many homes that were ruined by pressure washing).
